The fresh sound of Canberra-based four piece Freyja's Rain combines pop, blues, gospel, folk and rock. Their unique roots fusion interweaves lush vocal harmonies with groovy beats!
Soulful vocalist Jenny Sawer is Freyja's Rain's front woman and her mesmerising voice and soaring range breathe life into inspiring and entertaining lyrics!
Jenny is supported by Alan Hilvert-Bruce's elegant guitar, Taylor Dean's driving bass and Sam O'Brien's high-energy drumming! Freyja's Rain create a vibe that is upbeat, fun, contagious and outrageous and will leave you wanting more!

Their name is taken from Freyja, the most beautiful and propitious of the Norse goddesses. She is the patron goddess of crops and birth, the symbol of sensuality and was called upon at matters of love. She is also the Norse Goddess of love, beauty, fertility, war, death and wealth. She loves music, spring and flowers and rides on a carriage drawn by cats!
Jenny Sawer writes and arranges all the band's tunes and plays guitar, piano and cello. Jenny's vocal and songwriting style is influenced by an eclectic range of blues, jazz, gospel, folk, classical and rock. Her influences include Joni Mitchell, Adele, Aretha Franklin, Kimbra, Eva Cassidy, Etta James and Annie Lennox.
Freyja's Rain released their new EP "Outrageous" on September 21 2012 at The Front at Lyneham shops!
